Trading Day Prep Work
Dow mini trading results - 05/25/07
The YM opened higher and had a couple nice swings in the morning where the
volume wasn't too bad but as the day wore on things got slower and we never left the
tight range set in the first hour. A-D was showing solid upside levels after reaching
its lowest levels in months yesterday. Overall it was pretty much how you would
expect a Friday leading into a 3-day weekend to be.
I didn't get to trade at all today but after yesterday I wasn't planning on it. The one-way
action yesterday took me about to me goal for the week so I am content. I had
4-trades yesterday and all except the first one were just regular system signals on
the 1-minute chart. The first trade was off of the 12-second chart (1/5 of 1-min) and it
was a part of an MC run on the 5-minute. It turned out to be a 25-minute one as well.
This week we had a much larger group in the testing of the new trading room. It went
well from my perspective but I would like some more feedback from some of you
who might have attended. I like the live streaming charts feature integrated with the
dialogue because I think it will be easier to teach like that and help each other watch
trades. That software isn't exactly cheap and I plan to cover the costs on my side to
keep it free to the members so I would like as much feedback as possible during
this testing phase. I will keep both rooms running for now to direct new members to
the testing one.
It was a good week for trading and I am ready for the holiday. (Here is the prior Post).

Looking towards tomorrow
The Pivot Trend Bias is DOWN so I will look short initially and I will be using the
89-sma for trend direction.
The Advancing Volume ratio came in at 67%, which usually leads to some follow
through. I am not putting much weight on that given the long weekend. The
30-minute for now is making lower-lows with lower-highs as the daily works toward
the MC. I will play it that way until it stops.
I will continue to be using the 8K9C filter for my primary trading and as the teaching
tool in the trading room. It is going well and seems to have helped most people
clear up the mental cobwebs and focus on an easy to see and use filter. If anybody
is struggling on this I encourage you to contact me either in the room or by email.
I hope everyone has a great long weekend. Don't forget to take some time to reflect
on the sacrifices our Veterans and their families have made for us currently and
throughout our history. We owe them our thanks, our prayers and our support. I will
take advantage of this long 3-day weekend and make it a 5-day weekend, returning
to work here on Thursday.
