Trading Day Prep Work
Dow mini trading results - 04/25/07
The YM started off strong with a gap and zipped even higher after the open before
settling down ahead of the 10am news. It kicked off a 500tic buy signal after the
news that never really looked back. I don't get to do much on Wednesday anymore
and its a shame too because it was a very nice one-way day with strong A-D
confirming it.
I did manage to take a couple smaller trades when we were still locked inside the
early swing. We broke the new conference tool out today to try and go over some
basic signals and almost right away there was a 4tic sell followed by a 20tic buy (in
line with that 500tic buy). Both were about normal speed and both were played inside
the prior swings since we were still around some thicker crunchy levels at the time. I
like to do that instead of requiring a HH or LL.
I am going to go ahead and fork out the money for this conference tool since there
has been a good bit of interest and it seems like a good way to bring people up to
speed once they have completed the Flow Exercises. I would like to get a tally though
for the number of people I can expect to participate. There is no added cost to you but
I need to get an idea of the number of people so I can purchase the correct service
levels. Thanks in advance.

Looking towards tomorrow
The Pivot Trend Bias is UP so I will look long initially and I will be using the 89-sma
for trend direction.
The weekly has five clean waves up now with this latest extension. There is nothing
above so who knows where its headed. The Advancing Volume ratio came in at
82%, which typically leads to some follow through. We have more news tomorrow
so that will help steer the boat. I am happy to report there have no blatant
top-pickers in the group so far. While its nice to have the guide every once in a while
its nicer to not see people hurting themselves.
I will continue to be using the 8K9C filter for my primary trading and as the teaching
tool in the room. It is going well and seems to have helped most people clear up
the mental cobwebs and focus on an easy to see and use filter. If anybody is
